Fidus Writer can be installed in several ways. 

Ubuntu Snap

The simplest way of installing Fidus Writer with its plugins on Ubuntu is via Ubuntu Snap – simply look for Fidus Writer in the software center or install it via the command like this:

sudo snap install fiduswriter

Docker

Fidus Writer is available as a Docker Image which you can find here: https://hub.docker.com/r/moritzf/fiduswriter/.
